The GABA Charitable Trust has opened a special Bank Account to help speed skater Blake Skjellerup, NZ’s only out and proud Olympian Athlete, raise funding for training for his bid for Gold in 2014. Blake has been skating for 15 years, competing at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and 8 World Championships. Blake Skjellerup receives only a small annual contribution from SPARC NZ’s Sporting Agency.

You will be aware of all the work Blake has been doing over recent months in schools across NZ to highlight the issues of homophobic bullying.
