Auckland Pride Centre now in central city, Auckland, New Zealand

The Auckland Pride Centre officially opens in its new premises on the ground floor of The People Centre on 33 Wyndham St tomorrow.
"The increased visibility and central location means support for our community will be greatly enhanced." says Rosemary Segedin, Manager of The Pride Centre.

"The larger premises means that we have a good working space for community projects and meeting space for groups" Segedin adds.

"I am delighted that these are the first fully wheelchair accessible premises the Trust has had since its inception 8 years ago" says Board member Philip Patston.

"This coupled with the location at the Peoples Centre means that the Pride Centre is idealy situated to cater for a wide cross section of the lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender communities.
