Ralph said the event was a fun-filled day for gay, transgender, and families, with "all the fun of a summer fair", with international entertainment from noon till 4pm.
He said he hoped to create a similar event for the Waikato later in the year.
As a part of the Hamilton Gardens Festival, he is also the director of the Diva's Return, a cabaret performance to include returning Hamilton performers from the Gold Coast and Sydney from February 18 to 25.
Last year he was invited to perform in Parliament, and be a guest of Dunedin City Spring Festivities.
