New Years Honour: Pare Areta Keiha - 31-Dec-2007
Associate Professor Pare Areta Keiha has been made a Companion of the Queen's Service Order, for services to business, education and Maori.
Associate Professor Pare Keiha has a unique background that spans both academic and commercial environments. He is currently the Tumuaki of Te Ara Poutama, the Head of the Faculty of Maori Development, at the Auckland University of Technology.
He was one of a group of trustees who fronted up to lead the Hero Project out of its first financial collapse in 2000.
