Based on Chris Brickell’s Montana award-winning book ‘Mates and Lovers: A History of Gay New Zealand’, Fabulous Arts Aotearoa New Zealand stages 300 years of the private (and not-so-private) lives of men who love men. Two actors meander through pre-colonial to the 21st century Aotearoa/New Zealand with a perfect blend of humour and pathos. The new production includes new chorography by Tai Royal and an original score by Samuel Holloway.
